SCIENCE CENTER AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM “NOESIS”
The Science Center and Technology Museum "NOESIS" is a welfare, non-profit cultural and educational foundation that promotes Technology Culture and creates an appropriate environment for informing the public of the latest developments in Science and Technology. It operates in a privately-owned, brand-new 15,000 sq.m. building, located at Thermi area, whose design refers to the lever of Archimedes. The brand name of the Center intends to emphasize the connection between its operation and human intellect (noesis).
In the Center's premises visitors see, understand, act and assume roles, intervening in the learning process.
The project comprises following main areas:
- Technology Museum
- 300-seat Cosmotheater (2D & 3D)
- 160-seat digital Planetarium
- 18-seat virtual reality simulator
- 200-seat Multi-Purpose Hall
- Temporary Exhibitions Area
- Library CD-ROM
- Shops – Restaurant
- Administration Areas
The Project was realised with successive competitions of parts of works (excavations, structure, special systems, completion of architectural and E&M works, etc.).
HELLINITECHNIKI S.A., in collaboration with another office (participation percentage 50%), provided the following services:
- Project Management
- Full Project Study
- Preparation of Tender Documents
- Technical Supervision
- Supervision and checking of studied carried out by third parties
- Preparation and Implementation of scheduling and financial plan
- Organisation of the Temporary and Final Commissioning of the Project
In addition to the above, our Organisation supports the Client in the finding of the necessary capital for the realization of the Project as well as the providing of all kind of permits required by the relevant Authorities (planning, layout, building provisions, town approvals and permits, etc.).
With the above provided services, the Project is delivered completed and ready to function.
Moreover, our Organisation offers management – support to the maintenance procedure of the spaces and the equipment.
