URBAN PLANNING OF THE FALIRO COASTAL AREA AT KAVALA (HONORABLE MENTION IN ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION)

The character of the area under regeneration occurs as a synthetic construct of a new metropolitan park, based on combining existing alignments, structures, images and experiences.

Moreover, the design is based on morphological adoption and then the extension of the existing «patterns» of the current Park Faliro.

The main goal of this regeneration is to upgrade the existing landscape and environment, in terms of thermal, visual and acoustic comfort.
